Presentation: Bussines Modeling for Artists /  Eric van Monckhoven, Music4You/World Music Lab
Eric van Monckhoven (Belgium) has worked as an ecosocial project designer, manager, and grant writer at the service of the international community for 20 years. He also served as a cultural producer in France and Finland before setting up Music4You, a live music PR & Booking agency for world, folk, and jazz artists. Eric is a member of the European Folk Network board. He is based in Sicily, Italy.

You are an artist, and you want to earn a living from your craft. In brief, you are a business owner. By identifying what are the existing revenue streams for any of your offers, and understanding what it takes to create, distribute and capture value, you will be able to organize your operations and decide where to direct your efforts. Designing business models using visual tools can greatly help, and it can be fun too.

He ran his own artist management company for many years and also works with other strands of culture in collaboration with arts organisations, festivals and brands.
