Concert organiser since 1978.Toured Toumani Diabaté, Timbila ta Venasi, Ekonda from RDC, Cuarteto Patria and many more in the nineties. Works for the Centre for Fine Arts BOZAR in Brussels since 1999.


Marina Pommier (FR)

is a french programmer who is involved in World Music scene since 1994. Convinced european she was born in Lyon and has studied and worked several years in Brussels, Paris and Budapest and is now based in the South West of France. After beeing the tour manager of the Gipsies of Rajasthan, Musafir, she became the manager of the Hungarian Gipsy Band Romano Drom, and later on, of the southern slavic Hungarian Band Söndörgö, 

Programmer since 2002, specialised in Gipsy and Balkan music at first, she has never stopped since then to build bridges between minority and ethnic music and a large audience. For the Sziget Festival in Budapest, she created in 2002 and leaded  for 12 years the Roma Tent and then Roma and Balkan program of the World Music Stage, and is now presenting the “Global Village” stage . She is also programming some World Music acts for the Vidor Festival in Nyiregyháza since 2005. Since 2017 she is actively developing World Music concert series in rural villages in South west of France with the association « The World in my Village ».


Eric van Monckhoven (BE, IT)

has worked as an ecosocial project designer, manager, and grant writer at the service of the international community for 20 years. He served also as a cultural producer in France and Finland before setting up Music4You, a live music PR & Booking agency for world, folk, and roots music artists. Eric is a member of the European Folk Network board. He is based in Sicily, Italy.


Duncan Ballantyne (UK)

Duncan is the founder of Ballantyne Communications, a senior consultant, arts manager and programmer with fourteen years ´experience of campaigning and developing cross-cultural and international projects.  The agency was born in 2012 and provides communications, branding and digital services.


Ana Sors (UK)

Is a Managing Director at Salto Music, an international artist booking and production company, that represent artists supporting their career in the UK and Europe. The company creates collaborations projects with music professionals and artists between Europe and Latin America, including the production of live concerts. She works as Project Manager at EXIB Música Setúbal Festival in Portugal.


Milan Tesař (CZ)

Is a well-known music journalist, radio director and presenter at Radio PROGLAS since 1999 with his Radio shows “Slyste, lide!” (Hear, People) and “Jak se vam libi” (As You Like It).  He regulary prepares music reviews and interviews for printed and internet magazines in Czech republic and is invited to be a jury member e.g. at  Slovak Radio_Head Award. Since November 2020 he is the Head and secretary of the World Music Chart Europe.

– music journalist at Austrian Public Radio ORF Ö1, curator of Glatt&Verkehrt Festival and member of the World Music Chart Europe (WMCE), a board of European radio DJs.


Ciro De Rosa (IT)

A long-time contributor to Songlines, as a music journalist and disseminator of traditional and world music, he has published articles and essays over period of more than 30 years.  These days he is editor-in -chief of the webzine www.blogfoolk.com, produces and hosts the webradio show and podcast Globofonie. He is the panelist to Transglobal World Music Chart and Balkan World Music Chart.


Péter Vaza (HU)

Is the founder and Artistic Director of Babel Sound Festival, a world music event and artist residency that aims to be a dynamic meeting point where artists get the opportunity to grow their professional network as well as connect with their audience at Balatonboglár, on the shores of Lake Balaton.

Petr Dorůžka (CZ)

Czech columnist, journalist and music editor of Radio Vltava in Czech Radio. He writes about world music in Czech and foreign media, he lectured on world music cultures at the Faculty of Humanities at the Charles University. Since 1992, he has been the only Czech member of the World Music Charts Europe radio panel. In 2017, he received the WOMEX 17 Award for Professional Excellence for his lifelong work.
