The international conference with Slovak guests and international speakers. The main goal is to help Slovak musicians to plan strategies of music distribution, its organization and finding the best forms of evaluation. At the same time, it offers the opportunity to communicate directly with experts about proven ways to promote music abroad. In addition to general advice from experts, the conference will also provide a workshop where specific questions and suggestions from you Slovak musicians, bands and managers will be addressed.

Music4You, a live music PR & Booking agency for world, folk, and jazz artists. Eric is a member of the European Folk Network board. He is based in Sicily, Italy.
You are an artist, and you want to earn a living from your craft. In brief, you are a business owner. By identifying what are the existing revenue streams for any of your offers, and understanding what it takes to create, distribute and capture value, you will be able to organize your operations and decide where to direct your efforts. Designing business models using visual tools can greatly help, and it can be fun too.

Presentation: Global Arrivals: Promoting your music without compromising your sense of artistry / Duncan Ballantyne, Ballantyne Communications
Lecturer Duncan and his team at Ballantyne Communications tell stories and build narratives with the human experience at the forefront, celebrating difference, diversity and equality. This is something built-in to what they do, not a clever add on. Getting up close and personal is a philosophy at the heart of their work.
Duncan’s experiences are wide, having managed various UK based record labels, set up and managed Tiger’s Milk Records for 7 years, in collaboration with a London based Peruvian food and drinks brand called Ceviche. He ran his own artist management company for many years and also works with other strands of culture in collaboration with arts organisations, festivals and brands.
